New Haven Register, Notice City of Derby WPCA Sewer Bills Notice is hereby given to the Taxpayers of the City of Derby that the WPCA sewer use fees for July 1, 2016 – June 30, 2017 were mailed the end of August with a due date of September 1, 2016 for the first half. You will have until October 3, 2016 to pay these fees without penalty. Fees become delinquent October 4, 2016 and will be subject to interest of 1.5% a month from the due date. The second half will be due March 1, 2016, you will have until April 3, 2016 to pay without interest. Fees become delinquent April 4, 2016 and will be subject to interest of 1.5% a month from the due date. You will not receive another bill in March. Failure to receive a bill does not invalidate the sewer fee or any interest accrued. The WPCA office is located at 1 Elizabeth Street. and will be open Monday – Friday 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

New Haven Register, ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS TRANSFORMER T-6 REPLACEMENT AT THE LAKE GAILLARD WATER TREATMENT PLANT Sealed Bids for the Transformer T-6 Replacement at the Lake Gaillard Water Treatment Plant will be received by the South Central Connecticut Regional Water Authority, at its offices, 90 Sargent Drive, New Haven, Connecticut 06511-5966 until 2:00 p.m. local time on September 22, 2016 at which time they will be publicly opened and read. The project includes replacement of transformer T-6 at the Lake Gaillard Water Treatment Plant, including associated wiring, conduit, ductbanks, and sitework. A mandatory Pre-Bid meeting, for Bidders only, will be held at 10:00 a.m. eastern time on September 8, 2016.
